Sony Pictures to serve Ultimate Justice…

Ultimate Justice

Good news for Mark Dacascos, Matthias Hues, Mike Moeller, Brandon Rhea and Impact’s own Mike Leeder’s for their ‘Men on a Mission’ movie…

Impact‘s own Far Eastern Editor Mike Leeder ‘s work both in front and behind the camera continues, having recently wrapped casting and English-language scripting duties on Wong Jing’s epic crime thriller Chasing the Dragon starring Donnie Yen (Rogue One, Ip Man) and Andy Lau (Saviour of the Soul)…and he’ll soon be seen playing a vegan yoga-practicing bad guy in the HBOAsia original series Sent.

Now comes the news that Sony Pictures will be releasing his  action thriller Ultimate Justice later in the year.

Ultimate Justice follows a group of Special Forces operatives who come back together for one last mission when the family of one of their own is threatened. The film was produced by Rudiger Kummerle, Markus Vogelbacher and Leeder himself, who also wrote the screenplay for the movie (Strangely, Vision Intl‘s sales sheet for the movie omits those points). It stars Crying Freeman and Drive hero Mark Dacascos, Dark Angel’s Matthias Hues, One Million Klicks Mike Moeller, Brandon Rhea from Jet Li’s Fearless, Sandra Tauro (Plan B: Scheib auf Plan A), Wolfgang Riehm (Atomic Eden), Yazmeen Baker (Alarm for Cobra 11), Martin Baden (Lasko) and a rarely seen version of Leeder himself, sporting a full head of hair and a beard as ‘Joe’ one of the core members of the Ultimate Justice team.

“For Ultimate Justice we had a team of rock stars both in front and behind the camera…” Mike explains. ” There’s some incredible talent in Germany and we were lucky enough to have the best of the best working on our film. Mark Dacascos and Matthias Hues came in and raised the bar on both the acting and the drama while Mike Moeller and his team staged some incredible fights and action sequences. It was a hard shoot, we didn’t have the biggest budget but everyone was working towards the same goal and I think the blood, sweat and tears paid off! Thanks again to all our cast and crew for their hard work, their patience and continued support. It’s great to be picked up by Sony and have the film getting the release it deserves!”
