The last half of 2012 will see a raft of releases from the infamous 'Muscles from Brussels' and perhaps some more personal projects…
Jean-Claude Van Damme has wrapped his role in the thriller Enemies Closer starring Orlando Jones and featuring Impact’s original cover star as a character forced over the edge, when a drug cartel blackmails him to work for them.
It's proving to be a busy year for Van Damme and something of a resurrgence for the actor who first made his name in the likes of Hard Target and Time-Cop and retained a strong fanbase ever since. Of course, he's on-screen opposite Sylvester Stallone and many of his action-peers, playing the villanous Jean Villain in The Expendables 2 later this month and is currently shooting additional scenes for Soldiers, formerly known as The Eagles Path, his second directorial outing.
In the next few months we’ll see the release of 6 Bullets, Universal Soldier 4 (which is being presented in 3D) and the UK-based production UFO in which he appears in a cameo (while his daughter, Bianca, plays a leading role). He’s also hinted at an upcoming new project which will see him travelling the globe and revisiting his roots, and interacting with fans and martial artists from around the world.
