Short of the now firmly-established and job-specific Taurus Stunt Awards, you'd be hard pushed to find a big award ceremony that deems to recognsie the HUGE contribution that the stunts-department often makes to the most well-known - and profitable - film and telvision outings. The SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards DID do so and it was equally good to see some of the industry sites also reporting the results of the 19th annual ceremony
The winners of this year's Award for Outstanding Action Performances by Stunt film and Television Ensembles were announced by JoBeth Williams and Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Enterprise etc) and went to SkyFall and Game of Thrones.
