Bradford may have lost two of its major celebrations of cinema (the much acclaimed Fantastic Films Weekend and Bite the Mango events) but the Bradford International Film Festival, which runs from 11th - 21st April, is still on the calendar and at least one part of the schedule should be of major interest to Impact fans - the chance to see the latest Universal Soldier in cinematic 3D.
The screenings of Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning reunites Expendables 2 stars Jean Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins in a loud, proud and gloriously surreal action-outing that got a lot of attention in its international roll-out. This festival will be one of the very rare opportunities to see the film on the big screen in the UK . The screenings take place on Saturday 13th April and 19th April at the National Museum's Cubby Broccoli Theatre and Pictureville respectively with tickets ranging from £5.00 -£6.00. Find out more HERE.
The extensive festival schedule also includes an early chance to see Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing, Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem and Danish thriller A Hijacking. The festival's main site can be found HERE...
