Director Kevin Tanchereon’s second full season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy hits the 'Net at the end of September 2013, while the much discussed cinematic reboot moves slowly forward (with Tanchereon attached to direct the film version as well). Tanchereon’s vision reinvented certain characters origins and lifted the franchise out of development hell where it had languished since the two original live action movies and brief television series.
The second season of 'Legacy' looks bigger and better, with a cast that includes fan favourite Mark (The Crow) Dacascos as Kung Lao, Michelle Lee, Eric Jacobus, Casper (Starship Troopers) Van Diem, Dan Southworth and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprising his role as Shang Tsung, while the fight choreography is by action maestro Larnell Stovall.
The entire series hits will be available online at the end of September and we’re looking forward to the return to netherworld and the characters from the game….
