Triple Threat

Triple Threat‘ unites some significant martial-arts names and just got its first official teaser at the San Diego Comic Con...

Director Jesse V Johnson has long been a favourite of the Impact team and while we look forward to the upcoming Accident Man, the first teaser has dropped for his most recent completed project Triple Threat! The film brings together a number of the world’s greatest martial arts heroes and villains for one epic action project.

Three mismatched heroes Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais and Tiger Chen find themselves joining forces to save a beautiful woman (Celina Jade) from the bad guys. Those include Scott Adkins, Michael Jai-White, Michael Bisping and Jija Yanin. With action choreographer Tim Man (Undisputed 4) putting together the fight choreography with Johnson – who literally grew up in the action genre: he’s the nephew of stunt legends Andy and Vic Armstrong – we’ve got a lot to look forward to.

The first teaser for the film just made its debut at San Diego Comic Con:

(Impact‘s own Mike Leeder was Casting Director on the project although sadly we’re denied our hopes of seeing the entire cast punch, kick and choke Mike out this time round….)
