Kapow! John Mosby hosts con panels…

Impact's editor John Mosby will be hosting several panels during the big Kapow! event in London (19th-20th May)…

After interviewing Being Human creator Toby Whithouse and being a presenter at the first Stan Lee Awards during Kapow's first event in 2011, John will be hosting more panels at this month's  two-day convention during its line-up…

Looking at some of Image Comics' acclaimed recent releases, one of the panels will see chat-show star, film expert and comic-writer JONATHAN ROSS sitting on the 'other' side of the desk for once and joining his America's Got Powers collaborator acclaimed artist BRYAN HITCH (The Authhority, The Ultimates, Captain America: Reborn) to talk about how the project came into being and their plans for the future. NICK SPENCER (creator of such titles as Morning Glories, Infinite Vacation and co-writer on the new book Thief of Thieves from Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman) will also be on the panel as we examine how the comics publisher has been attracting audiences to a new wave of fresh titles, characters and concepts.

Eagle Award winner WARREN ELLIS has long been one of the most enigmatic creators in the business – opinionated and never afraid to be controversial. He will be talking to John about the ghosts in the writing machine and his career to date which has encompassed, in one form or another, the likes of Doctor Who, Batman, Iron Man, Stormwatch, The Authority, Lazarus Churchyard, Doom 2099, NextWave, RED (turned into the major film with Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren) and the web-based FreakAngels. His next novel Gun Machine will be published by Mulholland Books early next year.

Kapow!  will be releasing it's full detailed line-up in the next few days, so look for more panels on the Sunday as well…

NO tickets will be available on the door, so get your tickets via the website asap…
