In addition to an already impressive line-up, industry site Deadline reveals that Patrick Wilson will be now appearing in the upcoming Ant-Man film. It is not known what role he will play at this point, but Wilson is a respected actor with a diverse list of credits to his name. He was impressive in Hard Candy, the essential two-hander 'hostage' paedophile drama (opposite Ellen Page), starred as Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl in Watchmen, opposite Samuel L. Jackson in Lakeview Terrace and more recently appeared in two horror franchise outings: Insidious and The Conjuring (both those latter two films have upcoming sequels).
He joins a Marvel Studios production already boasting the likes of Paul Rudd in the lead role, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Peña, all under the instruction of director Edgar Wright. The film is due to hit cinemas next year.
