Kim Soo Hyun joins Avengers sequel

'Age of Ultron' is adding to its ranks, but will South Korean actress Kim Soo Hyun be a friend or foe to Marvel's superhero team?

As filming continues ready for its release in 2015, it appears that Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun is the latest recruit for the next Avengers movie, Age of Ultron.  There are few details about her role, though there are rumours she will play a villain and the role is said to be 'substantial' by her representatives

There did seem to have been some confusion on western sites, some of them reporting that Kim Soo Hyun was a male South Korean actor of the same name, others (correctly) saying it was the South Korean actress (also known as just  Soo-Hyun and the westerenised 'Claudia Kim'). The actress will be making her first public appearance since this week's casting at the Los Angeles premiere of the next Marvel Studios film  Captain America: The Winter Soldier on March 13th.

The latest casting annoucement confirmed that  that Kim Soo Hyun would be shooting in Seoul and the Gyeonggi Province in April and May.The film is also lensing in Italy, the UK and South Africa and  - according to the Korean Times - will benefit from an impressive 30% reimbursement program under South Korea's  Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism's rulings - and equally may spend over $9 million in the country during production.

There have also been rumours that there might be a new Age of Ultron teaser trailer being shown in the near future, though with so little actually shot so far, it could be dropping hints rather than providing any major new footage...
