Impact’s old fiend Alexander Nevsky, often referred to as the ’Russian Schwarzenegger’, recently took out a little time from his film production career to take part in the famous Mr. Universe contest, which was organised by the World Bodybuilding Federation and took place in Slovakia. It was time well spent with the Russian convincingly taking the famous title. Also pictured here is Nevsky’s Russian "Dancing with the Stars" partner Oksana Sidorenko who won the World Fitness Championship
Nevsky’s next role may well be in the role of another iconic strong-man, Hercules for which Impact’s own John Bierly will be co-writing the script. In the meantime, his most recent film Magic Man proved a theatrical hit in Russia and will be out on DVD in the US this January.
