Lawyer, Lawyer, Pants on Fire?

Since Adrianne Palicki was announced as the new  Wonder Woman  for the proposed NBC show there has been a steady stream of news - including the fact that Elizabeth Hurley is set to play a recurring villain.  But this is the first official look at the costume the Amazonian heroine will apparently be wearing.

Already fan reaction has been divided, with many saying it looks more like fancy-dress or Ann Summers-type variation rather than a workable costume and the decision to give her blue trouser/leggings/pants has been met with some raised eyebrows . Of course, if we're being fair, the Wonder Woman outfit was never exactly subtle - the most memorable wearer being Lynda Carter.  The new series is being overseen by David E. Kelley, more famous for his quirky lawyer outings (Ally McBeal etc) and fans are already wondering if the superheroine will stray too far from his established tone.
