The Stallone family has confirmed that Sylvester's son Sage has died suddenly at his home in Los Angeles...
Sylvester Stallone's son, Sage Moonblood Stallone, has been found dead in his Los Angeles home. Various rumours about the cause of death are circulating, but at the time of posting none of these have been confirmed. The thirty-six year old was found either by his girl-friend or a maid on Friday and the police appear to have confirmed there was no sign of foul play though reports may take weeks to confirm any factors.
Sage Stallone made his screen debut playing the on-screen son of Sylvester's Rocky Balboa in Rocky 5 and also appeared alongside his father again in the Rob Cohen directed Daylight. He went on to be both an actor and a film-maker in his own right. Michelle Bega, the representative for the family said "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with sage's mother, Sasha (Czack). Sage was a talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever."
Sage's attorney has told the New York Post that his client had been in good spirits and was planning to get married.
Sylvester Stallone had appeared at the SDCC event the previous day to promote the upcoming Expendables sequel and is now said, understandably, to be a 'wreck'.
