SDCC - Walking Dead S3 Trailer

The Walking Dead will return in mid-October, but the SDCC gave fans a glimpse of the carnage to come...

It looks there'll be no rest for the wicked, the dead or the undead with The Walking Dead Season 3 confirmed to be returning to screens across the world in mid-October.  SDCC saw much discussion about the show and the comic that inspired it. The Image comic, by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, just hit the milestone  #100 with one of the most bloody death scenes yet and there's little doubt that the series, which broadcasts on FX in the UK, will continue to be a cutting-edge production itself.

The four-minute sneak-peek at some of the elements falling into place during Season Three, debuted at the San Diego event and includes a better look at the introduction of the key characters of Michonne and The Governer - both of whom will impact Rick Grimes and his group of apocalyptic survivors. The team will be taking up residence at a massive prison complex, but look to be facing threats from both sides of the wire-fencing...
