Scott Adkins goes 'Underground'

There's nothing clever about hooliganism, but the Green Street franchise has taken some interesting turns, with the third film featuring Scott Adkins...

Scott-Adkins-Green-Street-Hooligans-3The more aggressive percentage of the UK football fan has been the subject of a number of films, from both versions of The Firm (though we do prefer the Gary Oldman version), Danny Dyer in The Football Factory, Cass, and the under-rated I.D. through to the Green Street Hooligans series which began with Elijah Wood and an impresisve range of star names getting caught up in the action before Jesse Johnson took over the franchise with Green Street 2 .That film saw the football rivalry continuing inside prison (though set in the UK, the film was shot in LA and we get to see Matthias Hues and Dominique Vandenberg as cockney’esque football hooligans!)

Now the third film in the series is set to hit the UK in October with Tower Block director James Nunn at the helm and Scott Adkins playing the lead in the officially titled: Green Street 3: Underground. Appropriately this latest chapter sees the hooliganism going 'underground' as rivalries begin to be settled not only on the terrace but in the streets and in the world of underground fighting... which sounds like a fair combination of action genres being targetted.

We'll be reviewing the film at the time of release, but this is your chance to see the trailer...
