Nowadays, Vin Diesel is probably most associated with the Fast and Furious franchise, but it was the likes of the xXx franchise that first secured his name as an action hero around which to build a franchise.
Diesel and Xander Cage are back for the film, somewhat predictably, entitled xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. which is due to hit cinemas in early 2017. The latest trailer gives an indication of the plot and the role of the various supporting cast. We get to see Donnie Yen in fine form, the trailer somewhat recalling the tone of his role in Highlander: Endgame as a dangerous member of a down-and-dirty team that takes no prisoners but who is also not a man without principle and honour.
