What plays in Vegas... stays in the running for a sequel and Chow Yun-fatt will be back in gambling mode for 'From Vegas to Macau 2'...

From Vegas to MacauWhile it may not have been the God of Gamblers sequel many of us were hoping for, Wong Jing's From Vegas to Macau did see Chow Yun-fatt returning to the world of gambling gods and 'gun fu' and hit pay-dirt at the box office across Asia during Chinese New Year in 2014. The film produced by Wong Jing and Infernal Affairs director Andrew Lau boasted an impressive supporting cast that included Nicholas Tse, Philip Ng and Chapman To, all of whom were given a chance to shine... and it looks like they've raised the odds for the sequel... From Vegas to Macau 2!

The story? Head of the money laundering organisation, Mr. Ko is murdered on his way to the Court by two assassins in an act to silence him. According to Interpol, Ko was not the head honcho of the organisation. Above him is a Japanese woman, Ms. Aoi. Her headquarters is built inside an A380 plane – her very own 'Sky Castle'.

Cool is recruited by the authority as 'Special Investigation Agent' to look into the case, mainly to follow Mark (Nick Cheung), an IT expert and the Accountant of the organisation who also happens to be Ko’s cousin. Ken (Chow Yun-fatt) tries to persuade Cool not to take risk, but Cool refuses to listen. Ken can do nothing but watch him go. However, Ken is later stunned to learn that Cool is in fact his biological son. Worried about his son’s safety, Ken sets out immediately for Thailand...

The film will be ready to hit the screen for Chinese New Year 2015 and you can see the trailer here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-Q-GcoPHlo
