It's an exciting time for fans of Naughty Dog's megahit Uncharted franchise as the third instalment has been confirmed and a teaser trailer released.
The series of games follows Nathan Drake, a descendant of the explorer Sir Francis, whose many (two to be exact) adventures for ancient treasures have a distinct Indiana Jones feel and always have some link to the paranormal.
Uncharted 3 is titled Drake's Deception and will (according to Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch) focus on the relationship between Drake and his father figure/mentor, Sully. Taking place mainly in the Arabian Peninsula and the Rub' al Khali Desert, Drake's latest hunt will be for a lost city known as the "Iram of Pillars" or "Atlantis of the Sands".
The trailer reveals absolutely nothing other than confirming the fact that the title will be released (late next year according to developers) but is still worth a watch if only to make you giddy.
