This deadly craft continues even today, and remarkably, one of its most lethal participants is not a member of the Yakuza, Massad, or the Colombian Drug Cartel, but an 88-year-old British woman currently living the quiet life in Los Angeles. She may suffer from the occasional bout of forgetfulness, and hasn’t updated her wardrobe since the late 1970’s, but underestimate her at your own peril. Agent 88 may appear to be a decrepit old lady, but in reality she is a highly skilled warrior assassin.
Yes, this is the story of the world’s deadliest assassin... an 88-year-old British woman on the verge of Alzheimers. The project, which could be described as an eclectic cocktail of Kill Bill, Crank and Mr. Magoo, is a dark action comedy that meshes wry wit with cutting-edge martial arts action, slick visual effects... all coming from the mind of the maverick artist & film-maker Digger T Mesch (formerly of Art Asylum) whose film credits include everything from Ultraviolet, Largo Winch, Twins Effect.
The project is in development as a web series and a pilot for the show has been shot which features a cast including Kay D’Arcy as the title character, El Mariachi himself Carlos Gallardo, Joseph Gatt soon to be seen in Star Trek 2 along with cameos by Kevin Eastman co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and man behind Heavy Metal magazine, Kevin Grevioux from Underworld and I, Frankenstein as well as Michael Davis the director of Shoot-Em Up!
