With more Bosch on tv and novels, it certainly looks as if 2017 could be a busy year for author Michael Connelly and his many fans…
The Amazon television series ‘Bosch‘ featuring Connelly’s eponymous detective (played by Titus Welliver) will be back for a third series in April, interweaving story strands from several of the published novels.
But fans of the books can also look forward to TWO new titles coming from the writer. A new Harry Bosch novel is set to debut in November and though it is, as yet, untitled, there’s every chance it will find itself atop the UK and US best-seller lists, as have many of the previous releases. But Connelly will also be releasing a different novel earlier in the year.
The Late Show is based around a new character, Renée Ballard, a young detective who has found herself in a dead-end night-shift job in the force after filing a sexual harassment complaint against her former boss. Her career path may change, however, when two separate cases of violence against women appear on her radar and she defies protocol to investigate them away from her scheduled hours.
It is due on book-shelves in July.
