We're now just a few weeks away from the release of the second of Peter Jackson's film adaptations of J R R Tolkien's The Hobbit. The Desolation of Smaug opens on December 13th but tonight - Monday 4th November - there's a chance to glimpse a little of what is in store with a special live event that is showing at several key cinemas around the world. However, aware that most fans won't be able to get to to the handful of screen locations, Impact is streaming the 80-minute event for our readers.
Cast members such as Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans and Andy Serkis are being joined by Jackson for a live Q&A and some new footage from the film...
The event begins at 10:00pm UK time (2:00PST / 5:00PM EST in the United States) and will begin streaming here simultaneously. If you can see the 'nowlive' logo below, you should be able to see all of the event when it begins.
