The first poster for Michael Bay's Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon has been revealed via joblo.com and it's rather... unspectacular, to say the least.
The one-sheet features a pretty generic image of Optimus Prime against a sunset that has 'Michael Bay' written all over it. The poster has been confirmed as legitimate but may not be used in the final marketing campaign. Although it may not be the most inspiring image, its release confirms the wheels of the Dark of the Moon have finally begun to turn, bringing its release ever closer.
The third instalment of the Transformers franchise will introduce Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in place of Megan Fox as Shia La Beouf's love interest. John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey will also be joining the cast.
A first teaser trailer has also just been released and can be viewed here.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is due for a June 2011 release and will be in 3D.
