DC/Warner weren’t to be outdone by Marvel during the Super Bowl 50 commercials. But rather than skew to the traditional wham-bang one might have expected for the upcoming Dawn of Justice film that pits Superman against Batman (and also features Wonder Woman), the production went for something quite radically different… two infomercials showing that Turkish Airlines now flies to two new and quite different destinations: Gotham City and Metropolis. With local celebrities, including Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor offering the endorsement in a Richard Branson-style way, these might even have fooled a casual viewer until the obligatory movie-clip at the end…
However kudos to whomever came up with this novel idea…
