NCIS: LA has quite a track record in attracting names to its show. It's regualr cast includes the likes of Linda Hunt, Miguel Ferrer, Chris O'Donnell and L L Cool J and in recent seasons enlisted Christopher Lambert as a 'Big Bad. Now industry site tvline.com is reporting that the series will feature Danny Trejo in a guest-role for a forthcoming episode.
Trejo has most recently been seen in the Machete movies and is well known for working with director Robert Rodriguez on amny of his projects. the actor has also appeared in the likes of Sons of Anarchy, Bones and Modern Family. Despite usually been cast as the intimdating physical presence on a production, Trejo remains one of the industry's true 'nice guys'. We've had the chance to meet him on several occasions and he's the prime example of a man who turned his life compeltely around after a troubled, law-baiting childhood.
The episode of NCIS: LA featuring Trejo will air in the US during the February sweeps period, with the main cast ehading down to Mexico on a mission. There's no word as yet as to whether Trejo's character will be a help or hinderance to their investigation...
