In 1976, a small movie called Paris, je t'aime was a moderate success, bringing together a number of well-known actors, writers and directors to create an anthology of love stories that were all connected to the French capital. Now it's the turn of horror to tap into a similar vein and it comes in the form of Fear Paris (aka Paris, I'll Kill You)...
Once again a number of talented directors, already including the likes of Joe Dante (Gremlins), Xavier Gens (Hitman), Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky), Christian Alvart (Pandorum), Jörn Heitmann (Rammstein: Lichtspielhaus) and Christopher Smith (Triangle), have come aboard the project, each creating their own segments, but likely to intersect with some of their comrades' work as the film progresses.
Though it will be a fair while before the project is released - it isn't planned to finish the actual shoot until late in 2014 - there's already a teaser for the production and we think it's pretty inspired.
Be warned, if you have a fear of mimes and blood, then this promotional short may prove too effective. But if the rest of the film is as good as this, then: 'Nous aimerons 'Fear Paris'!'
