The 2015 run of the show, which sees Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald in their second year together, will actually start later than expected on September 19th - rather than the late August date that many expected. The trailer hints of a darker tone and seems to reinforce a role for the Daleks as one of the returning bad guys. One rumour suggests that the Doctor will visit Skaro in its early years and encounter one of his foes a an earlier point in their lives... but that has not been confirmed.
Last year's run, Capaldi's first, was met with mixed reviews, though the lead actor certainly made the role his own. It will be interesting to see what changes there will be this time around...
