Wolverine now set for 2012 shoot
The road to mutant mayhem was never an easy one. It now looks as if the much anticipated Wolverine movie won't start shooting before the start of 2012...
Though Fox has never officially stated that the Hugh Jackman-headliner would lens this year, it did seem that plans were to have started sometime later in the Autumn. Now it looks as if the earliest start-date for filming the second Wolverine feature film may not be until Spring 2012. Deadline reports that this may well be due to a number of factors - finding locations in Japan, whether to shoot some key sequences in Canada and also Jackman's commitments to Les Miserables.
Previous delays have been caused by the unpreecedented disasters that hit Japan in the last year and also by Darren Aronofsky leaving the project in March. James Mangold has taken over the directorial reins and will hopefully reamin onboard as the project inches forward...
