Die Hard 5 - Moore the Merrier

 20th Century Fox and Bruce Willis have  apparently settled on who will be directing Die Hard 5 and - according to Deadline -  the job is going to... John  (Max Payne, The Omen) Moore, who will take the motherfunstering franchise to Russia. Though several film-makers were apparently up for the position, including Joe Cornish, Justin Lin and Nicolas Winding Refn, Moore was seen as someone who could deliver the goods and turn around the film quickly and on budget.  

Very little is known about the sequel, apart from that Russian location, but there are strong indications that there is a desire to cut back on some of the blatant VFX and go with a more hands-on approach.

Willis may end up shooting the film before he goes into production on another sequel - RED 2.
