For Dead in Tombstone, Anthony Michael Hall will be co-starring alongside our old friend Danny Trejo and the comeback kid Mickey Rourke for a Universal Pictures' film of blood and revenge in the old west.
Red (Hall) is sprung from prison by his half-brother Guerrero Hernandez (Trejo) who is the leader of an outlaw group known as the Blackwater Gang. However sibling rivalry and betrayal rear their head and their plans to raid a nearby town backfire. Guerrero, left for dead, decides to make a deal with the devil (Rourke, of course) to ensure his revenge and return to life. The scene is set for a showdown in the town... which is now known as the infamous Tombstone.
Rourke famously went up against the devil in Angel Heart , Trejo has starred in some of our favourite gung-ho action outings of the last decade - including the recent OTT blood-romp Machete - and Anthony Michael Hall is appropriately swapping the acclaimed Dead Zone series for Dead in Tombstone.
Roel Reine is directing the feature which starts shooting before the end of the month..
