You shall not ‘PASS’! Well you might, but first you have to get your kicks with the daughter of Jean-Claude Van Damme providing the pounding…
Bianca Bree Van Damme – the daughter of Jean-Claude Van Damme – looks set to finally unleash her fists and feet of fury in a full-blooded action flick if her latest project Kick Kick Bang Bang, formerly announced as Kickbox finally movies forward. The project – which as the original title admits is pretty much a female driven take on her father’s Kickboxer – will be directed by Alex Wraith, with Nathan McCoy producing and the film set for a potential Thailand shoot.
Bree, the daughter of Jean-Claude and wife Gladys Portugese has previously appeared alongside her father in such projects as Assassination Games, 6 Bullets, The Shepherd, Welcome to the Jungle and the as yet unreleased Eagle Path/Full Love. Bree has inherited the best of her father and mother, in terms of looks and moves and here’s hoping with the ‘right’ project we get to see just what she is capable of and perhaps we’ll see the female martial arts star we’ve been waiting for.
Bree and Wraith have a number of comedic projects in the works too, including Enter the Fist and the Golden Fleecing, a martial art comedy directed by Wraith and starring – according to the press release – Wraith, Bree, Ernie Reyes Jr (The Last Electric Knight), Michael Dudikoff (American Ninja), Taimak (The Last Dragon), Don ‘the Dragon’ Wilson (Bloodfist), Benny the Jet Urquidez (Dragons Forever). Bill Goldberg (Universal Soldier), Danny Trejo (Machete), adult film legend Ron Jeremy, Jason and Jeremy London (Dazed & Confused, Mallrats), Sam Jones (Flash Gordon), and several more.
There’s also P.A.S.S. or Paranormal Activity Security Squad an upcoming martial arts/horror/comedy flick which would appear to be riffing on Ghostbusters and general ‘cult and exploitation’ cinema and much more. The cast for the off the wall project includes Aki Aleong (Pound of Flesh).
