Described by its makers as 'Escape from New York meets 28 Days Later', Dolph Lundgren will battle the undead in Chris Hatton's Battle of the Damned, playing a soldier leading a ragtag group in a world ravaged by a deadly viral outbreak. The film is being sold by Bleiberg Entertainment’s Compound B label, with Ehud Bleiburg, Leon Tong, Nicholas Donnermeyer and Lundgren as producers.
“It’s going to be so intense and thrilling and it’s never been seen before! Humans versus zombies versus robots,” said Bleiberg. He added: “Having Dolph on board just takes it to a whole new level. He brings so much to the table and he’s looking forward to digging into this role.”Filming will start in June in Singapore and Malaysia.
As zombies are the coolest monster out there, maybe Stallone could star in 'The Walking Dredd', Bruce Willis could appear in 'A Good Day to Un-Die Hard' and Jean Claude could be on the Voyage of the Van Damned'?
