The cast of Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles is almost complete with the casting of Splinter, the heroes-in-a-half-shell's rat mentor. Danny Woodburn, who'll be familiar to many TV watchers for his regulalr guest-appearances in such shows as Bones, Crash & Bernstein and Seinfeld will be taking the part in the film that Bay is producing (Jonathhan Liebesman directs). Woodburn takes his place alongside the Turtles (Alan Ritchson plays Raphael, Pete Ploszek will play Leonardo, Jeremy Howard is Donatello and Noel Fisher fills out the role of Michaelangelo).
Bay regular Megan Fox was one of the first cast-members to eb announced, playing reporter April O'Neill. The plan is to have the Turtles and Splinter brought to the screen by motion-capture technology.
The film is due to debut June 6th, 2014.
