We've known for a while that Jack Bauer is returning to active duty and that his latest battle against a nefarious threat will be taking place in London. We now also know that the new mission will kick off on US screens on FOX on Monday May 5th (and though not confirmed, one suspects that it will be shown on SKY immediately thereafter, as has been the case in the past).
The mini-series, entitled 'Live Another Day' and set four years after the end of the last series, will be a twelve-episode season of the classic action favourite with Kiefer Sutherland back in the main role alongside the familiar faces of Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver, and William Devane as Chloe O'Brian, Audrey Raines and James Heller respectively.
We also now know that a range of 'new' faces will be onboard. These include multi-award-winning Judy Davis as 'Margot', regular big-screen bad-guy Michael Wincott as 'Adrian', Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Wire) as CIA agent Erik Ritter, Giles Matthey (True Blood) as tech-expert Jordan Reed and Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski has just been announced as playing an 'impulsive CIA field agent' named Kate Morgan..
The main shooting for the mini-series is about to begin in London and we hope to have much more coverage in the months to come...
