After the success of the recent One Million K(l)icks action-fest, Evolutionary Films has now signed a deal with Silent Partners to co-produce and sell the international martial arts movie sequel. It's title? Two Million K(l)icks: Hong Kong Death Match.
The film, starring European martial arts sensation Mike Moeller (Urban Fighter, One Million K(l)icks), will be produced by Impact's own Mike Leeder (Pound of Flesh, Ultimate Justice) and Ruediger W.Kuemmerle (Ultimate Justice). Another old friend of Impact's will be at the helm as British cult-action director Ross Boyask (Warrioress, 10 Dead Men) directs from a screenplay by Marco Theiss and Ross Boyask.
'TMK' will shoot in the first quarter of 2016 in Macau, Hong Kong and at Henry Luk's Ace Studios in NanHai Mainland China. Luk will also serve as a Consulting Producer. Two Million K(l)icks is the first in a proposed slate of action films and although shot in Asia, the film will be English language.
Evolutionary Films will co-produce the film and sell all rights internationally.
