Kapow! Con announces new TV panels

April's Kapow! convention has just announced multimedia panels on Being Human, True Blood, The Walking Dead, Skins, Merlin and Dexter...

14 February 2011

We've been keeping close-tabs on the big convention that Mark Millar kick-started and with the event only a few weeks away, the panels, schedules and news us starting to come together. Kapow!, taking place in London on 9th-10th April, is aiming to be a more comics-centred event than many of the UK's current calendar of conventions, but with plenty of cross-over series proving popular, the organisers have said they intend to provide a full multimedia experience for attendees.

The hugely successful series ‘The Walking Dead’ based on the graphic novels by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, will be talking about the huge splash made by the first series and showing unseen footage…we’ll let you keep guessing on who’ll be there to introduce it for another few weeks! The FX Channels other hit shows ‘True Blood’ and ‘Dexter’ will also be present at Kapow! and attendees are certainly are in for a real treat.

The award-winning E4 shows ‘Skins’ and ‘Misfits’ will be on hand to chat about the previous series and answer your questions on these insanely popular shows. Plus, ‘Being Human’, which airs on BBC3 and won the Best Television Drama Series at the 2010 Writer’s Guild of Great Britain Awards, will be talking about the current series and the upcoming plans for the show.

Other confirmed events at Kapow! include:-
