Justin Hires made an impression in the recent television revamp of Rush Hour But with that show cancelled, he’s heading over to CBS’ next big hope: the MacGyver revamp…
Rush Hour may not be coming back for a second run, but one of its main stars will be speeding across to another television revamp for the new season. Justin Hires will be joining another CBS show, MacGyver. He seems he will appear as Wilt Bozer, MacGyver’s room-mate and one of the four main series regulars that includes X-Men‘s Lucas Till (in the title role originally made famous by Richard Dean Anderson) and CSI‘s George Eads.
The show, which imagines a younger, but contemporary MacGyver as he thinks and invents his way out of a series of perilous situations and threats, has been looking to tweak the casting of the pilot that was originally shot earlier this year and in the end Till and Eads were ultimately the only actors/ characters kept on. Peter Lenkov, most recently the showrunner on Hawaii Five-O is in charge of the project.
