In the same way that Mark Millar and John Romita's original Kick Ass comic tweaked the nose of the industry tropes, the film adaptation also baited controversy with some extreme violence and some choice language - especially controversial because of the age of its main characters. However the film proved popular enough for a sequel and the film will hit the UK in July ( a few weeks later in the US).
This trailer is our first proper look at what to expect from the sequel. As Millar has explained the film will combine elements of the Kick Ass 2 comic and the Hit-Girlspin-off... and this new trailer shows some fo the plot elements from the Hit Girl perspective... with Minday batlting stereotypes in High School and costumed criminals in her downtime. Chloe Grace Moretz returns to the diminutive role with Aaron Johnson reprising the title character. Look closely and you'll also see Jim Carrey chewing the scenerey in fine form...
